Throughout Semester 1, the Lower Primary students delved deeper into the world of art via exploring a range of influential artists over the centuries.  The girls experimented with a number of new painting techniques whilst reproducing famous artworks such as Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’ and ‘Starry Nights’, Monet’s ‘Waterlilies’, Edvard Munch’s ‘Scream’ and a number of others. Each week, the girls came to class excited and eager, wanting to know who the next artist was going to be. As the weeks progressed so did the confidence levels and abilities to tackle new skills, resulting in some unique takes on some old classics.
