Last week, our students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a hands-on mocktail-making class led by a talented mixologist, immersing themselves in the world of hospitality. This experience not only allowed students to explore the art of crafting delicious mocktails but also provided valuable insights into the diverse and dynamic world of hospitality including responsible service of alcohol and the science behind the beverage-making.🍹
During the class, students had the opportunity to get their hands dirty (or perhaps sticky!) as they learned how to make their choice of either a refreshing pina colada or a zesty mojito. Utilising a variety of flavours such as rosella, watermelon, chilli, strawberry, and citrus, students delved into this creative process. The students were empowered to think outside the box to innovate and experiment with different flavour combinations to showcase their skills and create their own signature mocktail concoctions.
This experience left our students eager for more engaging and immersive experiences that will ignite their passion for learning and growth. Cheers to a bright and flavourful future ahead! 🌟
