A Thrilling Start to Primary Physical Education!
This year kicked off with excitement in Primary Physical Education! Our Prep students are brimming with energy as they develop their motor skills, showcasing impressive balance, agility, and spatial awareness. Meanwhile, students from Years 1 to 6 have been diving into swimming lessons, water safety, and basic lifesaving skills. Expert instructors from Splash-about Swim School have been an invaluable guide for our younger swimmers in Years 1 to 3. The dedication and effort of all our girls in improving their swimming abilities and water safety knowledge have been nothing short of inspiring. It's safe to say - Primary PE is the place to be!
Food & Textiles: A Blend of Creativity and Culture
Our Food & Textiles program has expanded this year to include students from Years 4, 5, and 6, introducing them to a world of creativity and tradition. Year 4 students have been experimenting in the kitchen with their unique yoghurt bark recipes, blending flavors and flair into delightful designs. For our budding artists in Years 5 and 6, the focus has shifted to weaving—an exploration of fascinating stories, intricate symbols, and practical applications rooted in Indigenous and Asian cultures.
In 2025, we’re excited to introduce 'Fashion' as a new applied senior subject. Students have already started envisioning their sleepwear creations, inspired by historical fashion influences, and translating their ideas into striking contemporary designs. The journey of discovery and self-expression is well underway!

Digital Technologies: Setting the Stage for Creativity
Year 8 students are stepping into the world of filmmaking with their remarkable stop-motion animations. From crafting imaginative sets and characters to designing stunning backgrounds, the creativity on display has been incredible. Once the scenes are ready, students start capturing frames to piece together their mini-animation masterpieces. Who knows? We might have future directors of blockbuster LEGO movies among us!
This year has been a whirlwind of innovation and inspiration across our programs, and we’re thrilled to see our students grow their skills, creativity, and confidence. Stay tuned for more updates as the year unfolds!
