To celebrate Library Lovers Day on 14 February, Mrs Carroll spiced things up for the month of February with a twist - inviting book lovers to take a chance on a mystery read.
During the month, students were invited to come pick up a specially wrapped book and take it home - without judging it by its cover. Each book was carefully selected, wrapped, and labelled with a few intriguing hints about its contents. Would it be a thrilling mystery, a heartwarming romance, or an inspiring adventure? There was only one way to find out!

After reading their books, the girls were asked to complete a ‘rate your date’ book review for a chance of winning a prize. Congratulations to Matilda on being the lucky recipient, who gave a glowing review of her book Wynter’s Thief.
Blind Date with a Book was a fun way to encourage readers to discover something new. Afterall, you never know - you might just fall in love with a book you never expected to read.
