Boarding has had a fun-filled week with sport, tutoring, Art Club, Show team, Molti Voce, and Rockhampton District sports trials keeping us busy. We also had girls attending the Defence Force Careers information evening on Wednesday Night.
We are looking ahead to our Boarders long weekend next weekend. Principal, Mrs Johnston and I will be heading west to my old stomping ground to meet with as many of our families as we can. Please come and join as at our get-togethers at Emerald, Anakie, Middlemount and Dysart. We want to hear from you, our families, about what is important to you. If you have families in your communities who are considering boarding for their daughters in the future, please bring them along. The Year 10 girls have had a flying start to their fundraising ventures raising money towards the end of year Boarders’ Farewell celebration. Congratulations to our raffle winners, Mrs Sheppard and Mrs Ung.
