As the weather cools, we enter cold and flu season, and at Girls Grammar, we're taking extra steps to keep our students healthy. We're reminding the girls to stay warm by wearing jumpers and closed-in footwear - sometimes they need a little encouragement! The boarding houses have been quieter, with our Year 9 and 10 girls away at camp, and our All Schools Oztag team travelling to Sunshine Coast to compete. We enjoyed hearing all about their adventures when they returned. Last weekend, we hosted a vibrant social event for Year 10 and 11 students, welcoming over 50 boys from St Brendan's College and 20 girls from St Ursula's College. Everyone had a fantastic time dancing, socialising, and enjoying each other's company. This event followed the previous week's collaborative NAIDOC celebrations with St Brendan's College.
I'm also enjoying meeting prospective boarders who are interested in joining our Girls Grammar community in 2025.
