We're thrilled to share the exciting news about our recent Ball Games Carnival, where Smith, Paterson, William, and Downs sporting houses came together in an epic showdown of athleticism and spirit! This event was not just about scoring goals or making perfect catches; it was a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community pride.
The morning was an absolute blast, with students from all sporting houses catching balls, scoring points, and igniting the house spirit with their enthusiasm. Whether it was a heart-pounding game of Leader Ball, Tunnel Ball, or Mr Fuller’s warm up, the energy was contagious. The resounding cheers from our passionate, athletic parents proving that the spirit of unity and competition is alive and well in our community.
Each sporting house was determined to clinch the prestigious trophy, but there was another coveted prize on the line - the Spirit Award. This special accolade goes beyond just winning games; it recognises the house that embodies the true spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and unwavering support. Congratulations to Downs, with a true display of house spirit led by the Year 6 students!
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the sporting houses for their incredible performances and sportsmanship. The winning Ball Games Champion House for 2023 was Paterson.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the Ball Games Carnival. The unity and enthusiasm displayed by our students, teachers, and supporters were truly heartwarming.
