RGGS' Young Playwrights' Club members, Charlotte (Year 11) and Kara-Lee (Year 8), have recently been accepted into the inaugural NQ Young Write Sparks 101 program. The joint initiative between Full Throttle Theatre and JUTE Theatre Company is designed to mentor emerging playwrights in secondary school as they work towards developing new, original plays. Our girls will be collaborating with other talented young writers and professional theatre makers over a series of intensive, online workshops. The program will culminate in professional dramaturgy on participant works, as well as an online play reading performed by a cast of professional performers. This unique experience is sure to equip Charlotte and Kara-Lee with a few crucial tricks of the trade and help them establish invaluable connections with other aspiring and established theatre makers.
