The massive crowd that gathered to support the P & F Association's annual Bulls 'n' Barrels event in 2023 had an unforgettable night. With 130 thrilling barrel races and 100 bulls showcasing their skills, competitors from various states and the local community had the audience captivated, ensuring the night was filled with excitement and lively celebrations.
The success of this event owes a debt of gratitude to our 19 generous sponsors and the dedicated efforts of our 100 volunteers. Their unwavering support was instrumental in making this event such a resounding success. We must also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Back to Roots Rodeo Company for seamlessly organizing and managing the arena for the third consecutive year, and to our tireless committee members who dedicated the past six months to making this event a reality.
We're thrilled to announce the lucky door prize winners of the Western Truck Group hampers – Sophie Frankish and Anica James. In a fierce competition with nine other talented contenders, Ruby Bell emerged victorious and proudly claimed the P&F buckle for the Girls Grammar barrel race.
Last year, the Women's Health, Information, and Referral service received funds that sustained and supported women for four months. We are eager to continue our support this year and eagerly anticipate how we can further assist this vital cause.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, making the event a memorable one. We hope to have the pleasure of your company again next year.
