Over Semester 1, six of our Girls Grammar senior students, Holly, Megan, Chanelle, Lucy, Madeline and Andie, had the opportunity to gain a head start on their future career with CQU's Start Uni Now (SUN) program.
SUN is a CQUniversity initiative that provides students completing Year 10, or studying in Years 11 and 12 a real university experience by combining your school study with the challenge of university level study.
The girls studied first year university subjects in conjunction with their high school studies, and all achieved exceptional results (2 x High Distinctions, 1 x Distinction, 2 x Credits, 1 x Pass).
SUN provided the girls with a genuine insight into tertiary study and their area of interest, whilst also becoming eligible for:
Two QCE credits for each subject;
Credit transfer towards their CQU degree;
Significantly reduced tuition fees for future SUN study; and
Eligibility for an early offer and direct entry into their chosen CQU degree.
Applications are now open for CQU's Term 3 SUN intake! Please make an appointment to speak to Dr Fry for more details.
