Last weekend a group of Year 12 girls decided to freshen up their deck in Upper Kollar. They spent time cleaning and organising the area. It was lovely to see them taking so much pride in their space. I decided to take three of those girls, who were in on Sunday, to Bunnings to buy some greenery and flowers as a gorgeous finishing touch.
We enjoyed a wonderful night at the theatre watching and listening to Sonny, Emma, Kailyn, Cruiz, Hadasshah and Megan performing in Anastasia. The boarders had an absolute ball cheering on our boarding stars.
Coming up we have another activity filled weekend planned. There's the Mt Morgan Show for our Show team, Capricorn Coast Carnival for some of our netballers, shopping, Park Run and Yoga. We were planning on catching up with St Brendan's and St Ursula's this weekend but the girls have run out of steam.
Next week we have the aspiring prefects giving their speeches and, the week after, the Year 9's are off to camp. A reminder to our families that our Boarder Long weekend falls on Friday 1 - 3 September and we hope that any Dads and Grandads can join us on the Thursday afternoon for our Girls Grammar event celebrating them.
