Girls Grammar Boarding Bulletin: Preparing for Week 9

In Boarding we are working towards a week of activity and excitement in Week 9.

We will be wishing Saphron all the best as she heads off to the World Swimming trials in Melbourne. Tahlya, Maggie, Phoenix and Nellabbey will be heading to the Gold Coast next Friday to a SEED regional camp and we look forward to hearing about all they have learned about climate change and looking after country. The Year 4 - 12 Athletics Carnival is on Tuesday and our Show Team will be involved in the Rockhampton Show for most of the week. Thursday is the Rockhampton Show public holiday and we will be heading to check out the Show. Saturday is our much anticipated Race Day with most of our boarders helping by serving the race goers. Sunday will bring a well deserved sleep in for all of us.

This weekend will be a little quieter with a rowing regatta, shopping and Jackson House will be hanging out with St Brendan’s and St Ursula’s doing a Scavenger hunt.
