Girls Grammar students to participate in ACER Social-Emotional Survey

On Tuesday, 20 August, our students will be participating in the ACER Social-Emotional Wellbeing Survey. This important initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the mental, emotional, and social well-being of all our students.

The ACER Social-Emotional Wellbeing Survey is designed to provide valuable insights into how students are feeling and coping in various aspects of their lives, both inside and outside of school. By understanding these key areas, we can better support our students in their academic and personal development.

The survey will be administered during school hours and is designed to be age-appropriate, with questions tailored to different year levels. It covers topics such as emotional regulation, relationships with peers, and overall school satisfaction. The data collected is confidential and will only be used to help us understand the collective needs of our student body.

The insights gained from this survey are crucial for informing our practices and strategies moving forward. By analysing the data, we can:

  • Identify areas where students may need additional support or resources.

  • Tailor our Pastoral Care program and initiatives to better address the social and emotional needs of our students.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of our current support systems and make adjustments as needed.

  • Engage with parents and caregivers in more meaningful ways to support their child's well-being.

Our goal is to create a nurturing and supportive school environment where every student feels valued, safe, and empowered to succeed. The information gathered from this survey is an essential part of achieving that goal.

We encourage you to have a conversation with your child about the upcoming survey. Let them know that this is an opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings honestly, and reassure them that their well-being is our top priority. A preview list of the questions can be provided to parents and caregivers upon request to the school.

Thank you for your continued partnership in fostering a positive and supportive school environment.
