This Christmas we are collecting the laptops of all Year 6 through to Year 12 students to upgrade them to using OneDrive and the latest Windows 10 software. Current Year 6 and 9 students will receive brand new laptops in January next year, but other years will receive their current laptop back.
As part of this process, every laptop will be inspected, and any damage will be repaired ready for the new year.
Excluding current Year 6 and 9 students, the laptops will be available for collection on the 15 and 16 December, or on Friday 20 January . Current Year 6 and 9 students can collect their laptops on 20 January once the new laptops have arrived and have been setup.
Each student will need to be present when collecting their laptop so that they can log in for the first time and complete the final setup steps.
Year 11 boarders who need to take their laptop with them will need to book in with IT to have their laptop reimaged prior to leaving.
If you are away on the day the laptops are due to be handed in, could you please ensure your laptop is returned as soon as possible so that it can be setup for 2023.
Key Dates:
Wednesday 16 November 2022 – Year 12 students to return their laptops on, or before this date.
Wednesday 23 November 2022 – Year 6-11 students to return their laptops on, or before this date.
Thursday 15 December 2022 (12.00pm - 5.00pm) and
Friday 16 December 2022 (7.30am – 11.00am) – Students can collect their laptop from the InfoCommons Rooms next to the library if they would like to use their laptop over the holidays.
Friday 20 January 2023 – All remaining students to collect their laptops from the InfoCommons Room next to the library.
