Year 3 Mt Hay Excursion

Earlier this month, the Year 3 girls had an exciting day at Mt Hay fossicking for thunder eggs. They explored the rocky terrain, searching for hidden treasures and learning about how these unique rocks form over millions of years.
As part of their Earth and Space Sciences studies, the girls saw firsthand how rocks and minerals develop. It was a great hands-on learning experience, reinforcing their classroom knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
Beyond science, the trip was also a chance to build teamwork and friendships. The girls worked together, shared their discoveries, and celebrated their finds. It was a fantastic day of learning, adventure, and outdoor fun!

Prep’s Very Hungry Caterpillar Celebration

This term in Prep, we have been immersed in the wonderful world of The Very Hungry Caterpillar! As part of our English unit, the girls explored new vocabulary, learned about simple story structure, and practiced retelling the story through engaging activities, including acting and using props. A highlight of our learning journey was observing two real chrysalises transform into beautiful monarch butterflies, which we named Millie and Memma. To celebrate our learning, we hosted The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day, where parents joined us for an afternoon of fun-filled activities. The girls created caterpillar headbands, threaded their own caterpillars, decorated caterpillar biscuits, enjoyed art and craft, and played themed games. It was a fantastic way to wrap up a wonderful term of learning in Prep!

Easter Bonnet Parade
Get ready to celebrate Easter in style! Our Annual Easter Bonnet Parade is just around the corner, and we can't wait to see all the creative and colourful designs from our primary students. Students are encouraged to create and wear their very own Easter bonnets, decorated with all things Easter - flowers, eggs, ribbons, bunnies and more!
There will be a fun-filled morning of Easter-themed activities, including crafts, games, and an Easter egg hunt led by the Primary Council and Prefects. Come and join us at the CAB for the runway event kicking off at 8.45am.
