We are pleased to announce an important update to our Stop, Drop, and Go zone, designed to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance student safety. Effective immediately, the designated drop-off and pick-up area has been extended by an additional 70+ metres, creating a more efficient and seamless process for families.
The newly extended zone now begins at Gate 2 (Reception entrance) and extends to Gate 3 (Service Road). The side street from McKeague back towards Archer Street is strictly for vehicles queuing while waiting for a space to become available at the front of Paterson House. To ensure student safety, under no circumstances should students enter vehicles in the queued area. Students must wait until they reach the designated pick-up zone before getting into their car.
To maintain a smooth traffic flow, parents should enter the Stop, Drop, and Go zone and move their vehicle as far forward as possible before stopping. This will help maximize the available space and keep traffic moving efficiently. Students will be waiting at Gate 2 under teacher supervision and should only enter their vehicle when directed by the duty teacher. This ensures that each car has come to a complete stop and prevents unnecessary delays for others.
