On 27 November, our Year 6 students bid farewell to primary school in a heartwarming graduation ceremony that celebrated their achievements, growth, and memories. It was a special day filled with pride, laughter, and a touch of nostalgia as families, friends, and teachers came together to honour this milestone.
The event began with inspiring speeches from Principal Kara Krehlik and Miss Harwood, who shared words of encouragement and reflected on the students’ journeys. Each Year 6 student was individually acknowledged, celebrating their unique contributions and accomplishments.
The class came together to recite their graduation pledge, affirming their readiness to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the future. Ava M and Shiraleise, the two students who had been with the school since Prep, had the honour of cutting the graduation cake, a sweet symbol of the friendships and experiences shared over the years.
The event concluded with the Year 6 musical, Pirates, where students showcased their acting, singing, and dancing talents one final time. Their confidence and commitment shone brightly as they performed for their loved ones, earning cheers and applause for their lively and entertaining production.
As the curtain closed on the day and their primary school years, the Year 6 students left us with a sense of pride and excitement for the adventures that lie ahead.
Congratulations to the graduating class - you’ve made us all incredibly proud!
