The long and competitive Rockhampton Touch Ladies Competition season is coming to an end, with our Girls Grammar teams having success.
RGGS Navy finished the season in 5th place in the C grade ladies competition, just missing out on the semi-final. The girls have developed immensely throughout the season, and it has been a pleasure to watch their individual growth. Watching Laine race down the sideline to score or Makenzie breaking ankles with her stepping has been a highlight of the season. As a team, the girls have done a great job at developing their ability to read the play and make quick decisions, getting countless overlaps through quick hands and their ability to reload in support.
RGGS Gold had a very impressive season, placing 2nd in the B grade ladies competition at the end of the regular season. These amazing results saw the girls ready to play the major semi-final on Wednesday this week against Primetime. Unfortunately, games were cancelled due to the rain earlier in the day leaving the fields in an unplayable state. We are eagerly awaiting a rescheduled date for the semi-final. We wish the girls all the best!
