Eryn Dessent - 13 - 15 Years State Basketball Championships.
Eryn’s Team was undefeated on their way to becoming State Champions, winning the Grand Final in overtime. From all reports Eryn played extremely well in all her games. Congratulations State Champion!
Abbey Fenton - State Umpiring 13 -15 Years State Basketball Championships.
Abbey was successful in being selected as a State Umpire at the 13 - 15 Years State Basketball Championships. She was in charge of many games throughout the championship and was asked to umpire the final. Earlier in the year, Abbey was also selected in the U18 Capricornia Basketball team. Unfortunately, those State Championships were cancelled due to COVID. Well done Abbey.

Water Polo
Monday saw our water polo team play TCC in their third game of the season. Goals were scored by Calli McRae and Georgia Sherry. Unfortunately, our team lost 5-3 in a game that could have gone either way as three of our shots at goal struck the cross bar. Katelyn Whyte played extremely well in goal saving some firm shots by TCC.
Volleyball
The last fixture game of the regular season was played on Tuesday afternoon with RGGS playing RGS A and Emmaus A back to back. The girls won both games defeating RGS (A) 2 sets to 1 and Emmaus (A) 2 sets to 0. They now await the announcement of who they will be playing in the Final series to be held next week. Tracelyn Warusam was awarded player of the games for her outstanding serving and game play. These girls have played 5 games and have only narrowly lost 1 set - a remarkable achievement.
Futsal
Whilst our Junior Futsal team had a bye this week, the senior team travelled to Yeppoon to play Yeppoon State High. The Girls played well but lost 3 goals to 1 in a game that would determine the Grand Finalist in the senior futsal competition. We will now have to wait and see the outcome of other fixtures which will determine our overall placing.
